Chris Kabel

Chris Kabel is a Dutch designer living and working in Rotterdam. After graduating from the Design Academy Eindhoven in 2001, he moved to Rotterdam the following year to start his own design studio. He combines his fascination with materials and natural phenomena with an analytical approach to designing objects and furniture. Chris collaborates with many international clients, has works featured in permanent exhibitions at major galleries and museums, and has been recognised for his talent with numerous design awards. For HAY, Chris Kabel has designed the Wire Candleholder.
